Here's a treat specially for you then, Michael...The Strange Case of The Missing Corpse...a 3-minute or so clip from the 60s, in full colour, apparently a trailer for American tv. Featuring the only ever colour appearance of Diana Rigg in her original catsuit from her B&W season!

I'm seriously considering getting these. Is the picture any good?
And when is the original Avengers getting a re-release? I missed them the first time around.

Not great, to be honest. The titles are very washed out, and there's lots of dirt on the film in places. It'll probably go down in price in the new year, depends how much you want to own them, I guess. It's a nice slimline package though, and you do get two commentaries.

Cheers Steve. I'll wait for the price drop then, & the pre-Rigg stuff is fine by me.

I watched Sleeper with Wayne last Sunday - I've got it on a video release from the early 90s doubled up with Target which I shall watch in due course. Haven't watched the video for probably more than a decade. My memory had cheated somewhat on Sleeper - I thought it was a Purdey episode, and that Steed and Gambit were "sleeping" for most of the episode, but that wasn't the case!
Wayne and I recognised good old Prentis Hancock straight away!

Early 2007, full details to be announced soon, although the first release looks likely to be chronological, so will be the early b&w stuff (pre-Rigg).[/QUOTE]
Good. We have been waiting for season 2 and what is left of season 1 on DVD for far too long!

I hope they clean up the Honor Blackman episodes, the previous set was shockingly bad.

Watched the third ep of S1 "House of Cards" last night - I think this is a really good one - I love the banter between Purdy and Gambit. Particularly the bit where Purdy's assassin waits in the chair.
Enjoyed the first one "Eagles Nest" too - good start with Peter Cushing but the second one seemed a bit flat.
And what amazing legs JL has too. 10/10

Oh yes, HOC is a beaut. I don't think anyone could have anything against that one surely-such a sweet ending too!
