Default Planet Skaro goes back... where?

    Hi folks,

Our look back at Season 19 is drawing to a close now, as we look back at Time-Flight this week.

Soon we'll be moving on to another season.

Which one would you like to look back on? Put your suggestions up and if we reach a consensus, then that's where we will go next!

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Hmm. I'd quite like another Pertwee one actually, maybe Season 10. Or perhaps it's time to be brave and face one of the rather difficult and largely missing early seasons? Or some awful Tennant thing if you're that way inclined, grumble moan etc.

I'd like to maybe do one of Sylv's seasons, esp the last one - let's start at the end?

I see there's no Colin or Pat yet... how about either 22 or 6?

Part of me is strongly tempted to say 22 as that's when I started watching so I have some memories of the time but I'd quite like to get better acquainted with Troughton first so I'm going to put another vote in for season 6 with 22 as my 2nd place vote.

I'd have thought Seaon 9 to celebrate the 40th anniversary.

Then again perhaps we should give Pat or Colin a chance, either Season 5 (The Monster Season) or Season 23 (The Triasl of a Time Lord).

The golden days of the second Matt Smith season for me. Likeable companions, great plots and, in the finale, some of the worst CSO for forty years.

might be a touch difficult as very few of us have seen the stories but why not try one of Pat's seasons.

That's why I suggested Season Six, rather than 5 or 4, actually - because at least most of us will have seen most of them!

In some respects I'm quite keen because there are several (or in the case of Troughton quite a lot of) stories I've not even got round to the listening to the audio versions or watching recons of.
I'd not actually seen parts of season 19 for nearly 10 years since I first bought and watched them so it's been a joy to revisit stories like Castrovalva and Kinda for only the second time ever.

If you're going to do a Troughton I'd say definitely bite the bullet and do 4 or 5 After all, if the aim is to eventually do all the seasons, it would be a shame to leave all the tricky ones right to the end so we have to wade through them all in one go.

Actually I wouldn't mind giving season 4 a go now that I've got recons for most of it

That's a very good point. So, yes, I think season 4 would be a good idea to be up next.

I'd be up for that, but I have no recollection at all about the regeneration and the changeover to the first new Doctor, but I'd be very excited about a contemporary music thread for the mid sixties.

Looking at what we've covered so far there's a fair representation overall albeit with a gap between S1 and S8 so there's a definite need for a b/w season and at least with S4 we get two Doctors for the price of one!

It's a shame Lister left that bath running isn't it. We could really do with his/her advice!

    Don't start!

That scene is like a infinite regression - once you start you can never get out of it!!!

I've never seen one before - no-one has - but I'm guessing it's fully moving video of Troughton's hat.

    Oooh, coconut macaroons!
