The Krotons - EXHAUST the DVD now!
Exhaust! Spin those heads. The Krotons is arriving on DVD later this year!
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

I agree The Kroton's is not the best classic series story you'll ever see but I never bought the video release and don't think I've seen it since it was show during The Five Faces season so I'm certainly looking forward to it's release.

The prints are in beautiful condition and it's another Troughton. "The Krotons" is the story that always seems like it's going to perhaps be better than you remember. Until you watch it.
But we'll see!

I loathe it. Easily one of my least favourites but maybe watching it in shiny almost HD will make me change my mind.

I don't remember much about it. This may be why it's bad.

I seem to recall that the script was a last-minute replacement. The best things about The Krotons is the performances by Troughton, Hines and Padbury which are top notch. They just don't have a good script to work with.

Given those circumstances, I don't think they did too bad a job. What I will concede, to be fair - the idea of having aliens with South African accents.

Let's hope the annoying pair from "Nightmare of Eden" aren't back for The Doctor's Strange Love.

Lee is great. Strange colours on the Zoe costume. For some reason, I always thought it was black with yellow.
