It's NOT CONFIRMED of course, but this is either the DVD cover or I've fallen for buying magic beans again...

I like it, but they've still got time to get the painting on Jon better. In fact, this probably is a fan made hoax, isn't it?

I hope so. It looks a bit 'cartoon like' for my tastes.

That looks like the real thing to me!

It looks more exciting than the story!

I don't think it's real. They haven't tried to cram on Bellal, the Exxilon city, the 'Root', Sarah Jane Smith, the Dalek spaceship, the mysterious symbols, or even Galloway and Tarrant. How will people know if their favourite companion is in it or not?!
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

I don't know - it's got just the right obscure photo of The Doctor and alternative version of a well-known image (the Dalek exploding) to be a real cover!

It's also got the concentric circles pattern so beloved of Mr Hickman. I reckon it is real, and I rather like it! They've taken a leaf out of the book cover design (for pun's sakes!), and gone for simplicity over completeness, and good for them!
Eta: this is not one of the many covers I tracked down and chose from when I was assembling my complete DVD-R collection a couple of years or so ago, so if it is a fan design, it must be relatively recent - and most of the recent fan covers have been new series.

Looks like a Lee Binding to me, similar style to The Face of Evil cover.

From Lee Binding on Twitter this morning...
Home alone today. Time to finish up the #doctorwho Death to the Daleks sleeve.
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

May be it was a rough draft?

I bet the actual sleeve won't be as good!

Ah, so it is a Lee Binding then!
According to something Clayton Hickman once said, it seems the artists themselves are responsible for 'inserting' the artwork into the template ... perhaps that's what Lee means?
Or maybe they're just aware that this cover has leaked early, and he's tweeted that for a bit of fun, knowing that people are already talking about it...

Unfortunately this strory is a bit thin on the ground with regards to surviving actors, but a big YAY! for Arnold Yarrow - bless!

I'm convinced I read of his death in DWM many years ago! Still, good to get him on board, though as far as I can make out, Joy is still around (even if her last TV appearace was 'Silent Witness' in 2003) so they should have tracked her down!

Perhaps they did and she didn't want to be involved?

Or perhaps, as is usual when there is a choice between a dull fan clever-dick and an interesting botoxed old bag, they didn't even try.

The frills are nice. They'd have been better on the Dalek though :-)
