Doctor Omega
Has anyone seen this:-
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Doctor-Frenc...51277&sr=1-1#_
It's got an intro by Terrance Dicks and apparently was written in 1911. The similarities to Who are ... well to be honest .... startling!
I'm trying to work out if it's a huge joke or not. Bit early for April 1st though

I've got it. I'm pretty certain it is a translation of a genuine French novel dating back 100 years. Whether it was any kind of inspiration to the creation of Doctor Who is unknown and will probably remain so.

I seem to recall either DWM or The Frame mentioning it a few years ago. At least it's available over here now.
