Great sporting spectacle.
(BTW, I hate jump racing, cruelest "sport" horses have to endure).
Would you rather watch Rugby or Football?

Rugby. But proper rugby, not that southern public school shite.
Any sports you genuinely feel are under represented on TV?

Well, Kabaddi's popularity swiftly waned. Women's football should be just as popular as the mens, if all things were fair.
What was the last game of sport that you played?Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Cricket. Now there's a real sport - it certainly separates the men from the impatient!
What was the last website you visited other than PS?
-

The BBC site, one of about five sites which I visit every day - including this one, of course.
What about Dr. Plaxton?

WHO?
Who was your favourite character from Blake's 7?
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

It's so tempting to say Blake here! However, I think I'll go for Space Fall where they find The Liberator in the first place. Tense, bleak, brilliant.
Should they bring back Blakes 7 or leave it how it was?Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!
-

If done well I'm really looking forward to it.
Would you like to see the original design of the Liberator used, an up-to-date version or something completely new?
-

It needs to be exactly the same, even the interiors!
Who could play Blake in a modern version of Blakes 7?Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Rick from The Walking Dead. I've forgotten his name. But at least he'd be on TV doing his actual accent!
Moving away from Blake's 7 for a moment, but if you could murder any celebrity and not get caught for it, who would you kill?
Caro Emerald. I don't care how highly regarded she is in European Jazz, I am sick of her Tango-fused crap!
-

Well, I wouldn't murder anyone, because even Justin Bieber and Katie Price have a right to life. Not just the sapient ones are sacred.
Though I accept I may regret not doing so until my dying day.
Reality TV. A harmless diversion or a sad indictment of where society has come?
-

I was hoping it was just a fad and that we'd return to more quality dramas. But alas, it's cheap to make and indeed still popular. Yep, a sad indictment of our times!
What's your oldest item of clothing that you still wear?
-

My birthday suit...although it needs a good ironing these days.
Are flippant answers annoying or not?
-

As long as they're flippant AND funny which yours clearly was Tim :-)
Do you know anyone personally who shares their name with a famous person ?
-

A few years back I used to work for 'The Other' David Bowie. He was from Newcastle, I think. A Short White Duke.
Have you ever laughed when first hearing somebody's name?Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Not at anyone's real name, but I did have a chuckle at Captain Sensible.
Dino's question was a good one, if somewhat badly worded - is there a celebrity you wouldn't mind suddenly not appearing in the public eye anymore?

I'd be extremely happy never to see or hear from Alan Carr ever again.
(Are the Lads available for private commissions ? )
Is there any popular TV programme that the world seems to love, but that you just don't see why they should ?Bazinga !

Not yet, but it will be soon.
What was your favourite Richard Briers starring sitcom?

I enjoyed Ever Decreasing Circles more than The Good Life at point of broadcast, and I think it's probably aged somewhat better too.
As you get older do you find you get more or less irritated by trivial things?
-

Less. They used to worry a lot, but I find these days I can brush them for the most part.
What are you up to?

About 5"4 and a half and you STILL haven't answered the question!
Or more seriously, I'm up to researching healthy eating again! More changes afoot!
How do you rate Holland and Barrett? Good shop, or a bit of a con?
Si.

Mostly pointless and over priced. You can get most of their stuff cheaper from Pets at Home.
Do you have a regular healthy diet, a regular unhealthy one, a somewhat intermittent cycle of indulgence and purge, or something different?
-
13th Apr 2013, 9:28 PM #650
I'm not sure.
I don't have what I'd call a regular healthy diet - I always tend to rush lunch during the week, and I probably eat too many biscuits and sweets.
But it's not a fixed unhealthy diet either - I always make sure I have three meals a day, and have 'two veg' at least (ie potatoes plus at least one other, occasionally two) probably four or five evening meals out of seven*.
Indulgence and purge...? Not quite, as that would suggest I consciously think "too many Mars bars, Curnow, time to dig out the bananas**" or something like that.
So I guess it must be "something different" - pushed for a description, then, I'd say my diet was primarily "everything in moderation". Not too much that's bad for me, probably not quite enough that's good for me, but balanced up with sufficient activity (quite mobile at work, walk the dogs of an evening, try not to sit on my arse in front of the PC or TV all evening) too keep things ticking over OK. And, TBH, I think that, whether it's actually true or not, I'm content in the belief that as long as I'm neither obsessive nor excessive, but instead remain somewhere inbetween, things will be generally OK.
Quite a long answer, sorry about that!!
Did you have a favourite comic as a kid?
*In case you're wondering, one of the other two out of seven might be something with beans (which count as one of your five a day of course) which I cannot abide with vegetables; and the other would very likely be fish fingers, which probably qualify as unhealthy if you have seven at a time with bread & butter, but no vegetables.
**bananas were just the first fruit to come to mind as an example. In fact, I would never opt for a banana due to the traumatic, and occasionally anecdotal, events of May 1996.
