Default Planet Skaro Audios: Season 5 Starts May 5th

A few weeks back the Paul Monk Doctor made his last stand, saving the universe from the Master, but losing his life in the process... The TARDIS is plunging down the Time Well, into goodness knows what and slowly the Doctor's features begin to blur and change and a new Doctor breathes his first breath...

But where is he heading? What is at the end of the Time Well?

All be revealed as we begin a brand new series of Planet Skaro Audios! Running from May to November this year, you can join the new Doctor, played by Brendan Jones on his adventures in the Next Universe and we can assure you, nothing is quite the same there as he's used to.

Nearly two years in the planning and recording, we can promise you some exciting adventures, some new allies, some new enemies and much, much more!

The series begins next Saturday, May 5th, with a mini-prelude to the series, Echoes of the Doctor.

New Doctor, New Universe, New Adventures in Time and Space

I miss the old show runner. He was flamboyant but lovable.

This is all very exciting news. At this stage I know 0.000001% of information as to what's coming up in Season 5.
I don't know why but I find this more exciting than the thought of watching the TV show later in the year!

We're spoiled by having such a short gap in between Doctors!

Looking forward to Season 5! But isn't that the one with the most missing episodes?

Or will it be the one with the most holes in the plots????

The cheque will be in the post later today.

Although why we're paying you to tell the truth I don't know!

I do hope that's not down to external pressures...

Oh no Ant, nothing to do with any external pressures- just getting the last few bits and pieces recorded.

Following the ten minute prelude, Echoes of the Doctor, our first full story is Invaders From Oxford. It's a three part adventure written by the new Doctor himself, Brendan Jones.

As we commemorate the passing of JNT, the following entry is probably appropriate...

    7.30
    DOCTOR WHO (Stereo)
A prelude to the new series starring
    BRENDAN JONES

    ECHOES OF THE DOCTOR

    Where is the Doctor?
    WHO is the Doctor?
    What happened in the Ritz?

    7.30
    DOCTOR WHO (Stereo)
The first episode in a new series starring
    BRENDAN JONES
    in
    INVADERS FROM OXFORD

    What is Thomas Sterling's secret?
    Who is the Protector?
    What is the Doctor wearing?

Characters (Rather than cast, as I don't know the surname of one of them!)
    The Doctor
    Martina Walden
    Thomas Sterling
    Mr Buchanan
    The Protector
    Librarian
    Professor Ambrose

    Oooh, coconut macaroons!

Echoes of the Doctor won't be debuting at 7.30pm on Saturday, more like the morning sometime, as I'm going to be away Saturday night.

Having just relistened to the extremely poignant final episode of The Next Universe I am really excited to hear this...

Do we have a broadcast date for the first episode of Invaders From Oxford yet btw?
