Yes, it's this year's Script to Screen competition winner and it's being broadcast on Blue Peter next week sometime!
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Well it's better than a smack in the face I suppose. Hopefully it'll be more coherent than Death is the only Answer was although that was still fun.

I have a nagging feeling that I'm completely forget this is on. Must try and remember to set my sky box the next time I'm at home.

So did you remember Richard? It was okay I suppose. Worth it just to see Matt's hair take on a life of its own. And quite a timely story too, given that Matt will be carrying the Olympic torch in Cardiff tomorrow!

I caught the last few minutes yesterday, on CBBC Blue Peter. So I know how it ends. I just need to watch today's Blue Peter to see the build up to it.

This one had the genuine gold olympic torch in though.
Was Matt hung over when they recorded it or maybe was it just the fact that the dialogue had been written by 10 year olds as he came across more obviously than usual as a fanboy impersonating Troughton.
That said despite the silliness and the "adventure button" (yuck!) the gag with the Doctor's hair was good and the use of returning monster which was given away by the behind the scenes feature before they showed the "film" was effectively done with a nice ending.

But is it canon?

I suppose it would fit best somewhere in the latter half of Series 5, after Rory was erased from time...but the whole of Series 5 never happened...so, no.
For every fail, there is an equal and opposite win.
...Oh, who am I kidding?

I think some of series 5 must have happened otherwise Amy and Rory wouldn't be able remember parts of it or indeed have remembered the Doctor at all. It just happens that certain aspects of reality have been altered around them after all it was Amy's exposure to the crack in her wall that caused her to lose everyone and to be able to remember them all back into existence.
Anyway I suspect the whole notion of canon is getting a bit irrelevant these days.

Apparently the girls' scripted line, "Rory's on the shitter," was deemed inappropriate, and was thus left out.
