    Default New BBC Director General named

    Anyone asked him what his opinion of Doctor Who is then?

    George Entwistle has been named the new director general of the BBC, it has been announced.

    Mr Entwistle, who is currently director of BBC Vision, will take over from outgoing director general Mark Thompson.

    He's from the creative side of the BBC apparently, which bodes well. But otherwise I know nothing very much about him.
