I think it might be that if he has normal milk on his cereal he gets migraines.

I'll check my fun diary (as opposed to my work diary!) when I get home - if I'm free I'll come along!

It's the Premier Inn just round the corner at Euston. Cost me £115 for the night.

Did you go for the one with the DVD from a few years ago?

It's the 2008 version but just the CD as that was only a couple of quid. The price for the CD+DVD version is pretty extortionate by comparison!

An evening trip to M&S has seen me come home with a new pair of shoes (I hate shoe shopping, so this was a good result indeed) and my niece's birthday present for later in the month! Hurrah! Success at shopping!

I'm still waiting for work to confirm I can have the following day off.
I don't fancy having to wake up at 5am and get into Reading for 7, the morning after!

Mooching the charity shops, I bought three volumes of Spike Milligan's war memoirs for £3, then went to the indoor market where I picked a couple of old Target novels and 'The Radio Times Story' book for a couple of quid each, plus all three DVD box sets of 'Ashes To Ashes' for a bargain-licious £18.

The moral to this is: get thee to a charity shop. You never know what you might find, and you'll do some good forsomebody else into the bargain.

Random thought: do they have a reading group at Reading Library? And if so, is it Reading Reading Group?

No it's Birch Hill Reading Group... in Bracknell!

Reading might well have its own Reading Group though!
