Shoe shine and a brush, various food items and a take-away:

Massala Dosa which is a sort of crepe with spicy potatoes in, plus a selection of chutneys and Mix Chaat - Which I have no idea what it is! Tasty veggie curry, delivered to the door. Awesome.
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

A lovely new coat. I wasn't intentionally clothes shopping but noticed it in a charity shop for £5.95 and couldn't resist. The only drawback is that it's a sort of Spring/Summer type jacket, and probably won't keep me warm during the autumn and winter...But sometimes I must suffer to be in style, I guess...

Just bought the audiobook of Doctor Who Dark Horizons by JT Colgan and now eyeing up some of the Big Finish main range from last year. I'm 18 months behind so about due for a catch up

Decided to put last year's 5th Doctor and gang trilogy on hold and carry on with Robophobia, The Doomsday Quatrain and House of Blue Fire.

Additionally I picked up the audiobooks of The Happiness Patrol, Paradise Towers and Black Orchid.

Now heading over to Big Finish to pre-order The Special Releases Bundle and The Confessions of Dorian Gray...

Haven't actually done my Big Finish order yet but I will do sometime this week.

Still feeling quite spiritual today so I have instead just ordered a book of Celtic prayers.

I wasn't going to get that but it appears that someone special has got it me for my upcoming birthday.

Later I shall be buying a meal out & 2 cinema tickets.

Last week I got some Harry Potter memorabilia from the Warner Bros. Tour @ Leavesden, which my good lady wife & I visited.

It wasn't us then, so that's all right!

    I'll rephrase that...

I made an appointment to see my solicitor and go through the paperwork for my new flat. So I got excited and went out and bought two King size duvet sets, a pair of Fogerty goose down pillows and a 4 slice toaster.

    Hmmm.

I just paid the deposit for our Christmas do.

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

You work in a library. Everytime someone lets off a party popper, everyone else will say "Sssshhhhh!"

Si will just have to whisper "Bang!" and mime a party popper going off then.

    Slasher Hunt
    Drunken quest for urinal?

Today I bought film tickets, more or less at random.
No Entry For Men - a film about an Iranian school for women. There is a ladies only showing, but that's not the one I'm going to.
White Tiger - A Russian film about a kind of Dr Doolittle character who can talk to tanks.
Made In Qatar - A selection of short films that could probably best be described as 'Home Brew'.
Kon-Tiki - My personal highlight, the film of Thor Heyerdal's trip across the Pacific in a little boat made of reeds. Showing on the rooftop of Al Rayaan.

I missed out on tickets for The Reluctant Fundamentalist, but I'm sure I'll catch it at some point.
