Chronotis and Camelot Tour 2012 Pictures!
Fury at the weather!
Impersonating Skagra, sans hat, sans cloak, sans really mouldy looking carpet bag.
Page stretch time! The lovely quad of St Cedds / Emmanuel College.
Now THIS looks familiar!
Brendan wishes that Lalla Ward would arrive in the TARDIS and cart him off. But we all wish that from time to time.
How did they get those aerial shots? Was it by using a crane, or climbing the convenient staircase?
Definitely staircase.
This is the CORRECT half-timbered house where Tom runs to escape Skagra's evil-flying-mind-sapping-ball.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Day 2: Rutland Water.
Brendan has dishonoured us!
Here comes the Brig?
Si and Jonno, teaching me the limitations of my technologies.
We were rather disturbed to find that the church had a 'POLICE AWARE' sticker slapped on it. It seems someone had dumped an unused and unwanted church in the middle of this village.
An umbrella is worth 10 of the sword.
I HEAR YOU MORGAINE!!!
Fearless warriors from another dimension descend on the village.
Jonno prepares to jump a muddy puddle.
He makes it!
Ash wasn't so lucky. We never saw him again.
The Gore Crow hotel in all it's former glory. Trip Advisor review: 1 star - We weren't allowed within a hundred yards of the place.
Sheep bothering.
A nice view over Rutland Water. Massive archaeological dig and Professor Peter Walmsley just out of shot.
'It just said "Night has fallen here."'
Three Excaliburs in one lake? This is highly irregular!
Camp to the max.
Charlie's Swordfighting Angels!
You'd have a long wait for the UNIT jeep. But it did come past here!
OK, I admit this is kind of like the other photos but it's still good. Hurrah!
Thanks to everyone for coming who made it such a great weekend, even with the drizzle.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

We also did a spot of punting! I'll let these ones speak for themselves, mostly.

Great stuff. The locations haven't changed a bit. Shame the weather wasn't quite as good as Summer 1989. Where are we going next time?

Great photos fellas. I see water, I see a punt, I see a strong pair of hands (was Steve the only one man enough to drive?) and I see a pole.
Si.

I wasn't madly keen on getting up and balancing and punting. I have enough trouble standing up as it is, let alone anything else!
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

I was enjoying it so much that I didn't let anyone else have a go! But they all seemed happy criticising my steering - mostly with good reason!

I got the benefit of not falling in. I would have fallen in. Me and boats don't mix well. Especially the more like canoes they get.
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

There's some great photos there, I wish I could have made that weekend.
Aw, the Mitre was one of my favourite pubs back when I was a student at the Cambridge Poly. I had no idea it was a Who location either, that would have made it even more special.
Here's me punting on that same stretch of water about 14 years ago:
I only lasted about 5 minutes though, it's exhausting stuff."RIP Henchman No.24."

We spent quite a bit of time on The Mitre! A superb pub indeed. The area round the back is extremely recognisable from The Five Doctors (see above photos) which made it all the more special. Though as it's in actual fact a dull-looking yard, I should imagine the novelty would wear off quite quickly.
The punting was challenging. There's clearly a technique to it, but I don't think I quite got it. My arms didn't half ache afterwards! Looking back at the punts from Shada it seems the boats themselves, even the blue cushions, haven't changed in 35 years.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

"England expects every man to go punting and lose the infernal pole at least once in their lifetime..."
I was quite keen to have a go at punting myself, but on reflection it would have been very awkward for Steve and I to switch places without tipping ourselves overboard - if not the whole punt!We ride tornadoes. We eat tomatoes.

Excellent pic's guys. It looks like you had great fun. I wish I could have been there.
Whilst punting, was there no sign of the time scoop? At all?
