I gather Tom Daley is keen to get hold of a CoC. So if anyone here has one that you wish to award him...

From the QI elves on Twitter...

ABBA is the only palindromic band to have had a song in the UK charts that is also a palindrome - SOS.

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

    This conversation is sort-of palindromic.

"Son I am able," she said "though you scare me."
    "Watch," said I
"Beloved," I said "watch me scare you though." Said she,
    "Able am I, Son."

And today's random fact is: Salford was made a city in 1926. How fascinating!

Everything is very quiet and still today, like everything is waiting for something to happen to get things started. Very odd.

In the world... or this little bit of it anyway.

Just had some Dolly Birds coming around the office giving away free Red Bull. I refused - disgusting stuff. Anyway, how can they afford to give away Red Bull for free, we asked!

    The answer from Google:

Red Bull - Number of cans sold (2011) 4.631 Billion.

OK, they can afford to lose a few hundred thousand cans in that...

And why were we not offered any shares in the stuff? I'd rather have them than the damn drink! Only ever had one can, I had a raging headache for the rest of the afternoon and all weekend.

So long as you've still got your nipples...

I'm looking forward to hearing if you have any chest-stubble issues.
