Russell Brand. One of the few people that still comes across as a complete tit, even when he's saying laudable things.
If only people took as much notice of Stewart Lee.

So it's not just me then!

Who thinks that Russell Brand's a complete tit, rather than actually being - oh

Don't forget to put the clocks back this evening!

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Just to let you know that due to popular demand (!) Nyder's Advent Quiz will be back for 2013. It'll be bigger, better and nastier than ever - with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. So there's no excuse not to take part!

Coming soon to a thread near you.....

    Last year's was fiendishly difficult.

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Great news - but scary to think the previous one was almost a year ago!

Should we just give the top 2 prizes to Jon & Si and fight it out for 3rd?

Who knows, we may yet defeat Jon...

    Though it seems unlikely!

Just realised I joined the relaunched PS 7 years ago today - 01/11/06. Presumably this was the actual relaunch date? It was when we migrated from EZboard, is that right?

I'm clearly in anniversary mode right now!

We actually moved on 23rd Nov, but the mods/ admins at the time were allowed in early as I remember. I think we set up lots of threads for everyone before we opened.

Your memory sure is better than mine, Si! Mind you, I started work at my current place on 06/11/06 so it was a hectic time!

I remember discussing the forum move at that year's PS Meet.
I suspect it was Jonno I talked to!

Hee hee hee hee. If you thought last year's was difficult.....

Been spending the last two evenings compiling all the questions. It's immoral - EVIL! It's got a 60/40 bias in favour of Who-related questions. I think that's slightly more than last year. Don't you go thinking it'll be a walk in the park though!

Fun things I've read today at work:

    "The area is primordially residential"
Probably meant to be 'Primarily residential' but I prefer the idea of a village occupied by blue-skinned Neanderthals with straggly hair.

"It will be good to see how it rhymes with the rest of the document."
What do I look like? The Rhyme-nocerous?

They call me the Rhyme-nocerus, my lyrics are bottomless.
