4.30am start and long day at work don't mix too well. My eyelids are drooping already.
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Tea. An then more tea. Then a coffee to wash the tea down.

Squatting is illegal at last! Finally people are not allowed to live in and trash houses that don't belong to them. Sounds pretty simple when you say it like that doesn't it?
Si.

So according to the Daily Mirror, Matt wants to quit. I was going to make a thread about it, but when I looked at the online page, there were comment after comment about how this story has been made up. And that the Daily Mirror should go the same way as the News Of The World.
So I got myself all wound up and angry for nothing. What film career, Matt?
You either have ditchwater dull historically inaccurate movies, or the slightly wimpy sidekick to big Hollywood action heroes. Or... or... you could stay in a show where the character goes through time and space and can be any sort of show each week.
I know what I'd choose!

Pretty sure it's cobblers Dino. It's almost certain Matt will still be in the 2014 series.

Angela has gone off to the Para-Olympics. She's at the athletics stadium as I type. It's alright for some.

Banking done! Twins Club storytime done! Activity stats done! Visitor count done! I'm on fire this morning. Now for some more banking!
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

So Spamalot is actually much more than just a rehash of Monty Python and the Holy Grail it's actually a LOT funnier (especially Act 2 so don't leave at the interval if you're slightly disappointed with Act 1 like I was) - Plus the current production has Todd Carty (yes Mark Fowler from EastEnders) singing (!) and Bonnie Langford being generally superb!
Every West End musical should have Bonnie Langford in it!

I saw Spamalot on Broadway (place dropper!) and I enjoyed it. When the "Voice of God" i.e. John Cleese boomed over the speaker, the young bloke next to me turned to his friend and said "oh my God, that was John Cleese, you know - the one from Will & Grace!"
Yep - welcome to the generation gap!

We had a projection of a pre-recorded video clip of Eric Idle as God which was quite fun. I assume Mr Cleese's voice was pre-recorded for the Broadway production?
It's a shame the topical references probably won't be as funny in future productions once the coalition is no longer in power and Boris is no longer Mayor.

I see absolutely no humour in the Coalition now!

Oh I don't know - Clegg is one big joke!

True enough - although most of the ad-libbed humour last night was Anti-Tory the highlight being a cameo by "Boris"

I've just done the Doctor's ironing. How many other companions have had this experience I wonder?

Lalla Ward?
Though one suspects she had a housekeeper.

I don't think Lalla would lower herself to the ironing board.

K9 probably has a setting to heat up his undercarriage, and I'm sure he spent many a happy hour trundling backwards and forwards up and down the Doctor's shirts.
