How Utterly Random!
A newish day, a brand new thread!
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

The sports TV in our office has nearly naked men on it. I can usually ignore it as it's situated behind me but I keep having to turn round today!

Was going to have a moan about how tired I feel after my difficult journey in thanks to the central line being down earlier.
However just saw a reminder of the terrible accident on Loughton High Road yesterday which saw a vehicle leave the road and plough through the glass front of Loughton Methodist Church trapping a woman working in the church office under her desk. Just read that having been airlifted to hospital she is now stable with leg and pelvis injuries.
Kind of puts my gripes about being inconvenienced when I've still made it safely to work in perspective!

The latest report seemed to suggest that she would be. Fortunately the driver was unhurt and with some help was able to reverse the vehicle. Passers by from the cafe next door then went to help the victim.
It seems very fortunate that no one else was hurt.

I happened to see the car trapped in the church; fire engines , ambulance, paramedics, police blocking off the high road. Thankfully it looks worse for the driver than it was, which was bad enough. The chuirch front is/was largely glass, so fairly easy, if expensive to repair. (This on top of all the ground wall windows of the health centre being stoned recently I might add!)
Am I right in thinking you had something to do with the church in question, Richard?

Ah, I knew you went to one at one end of the high road, but I wasn't sure which.

My boss is out of the office today (pretty sure she's gone to watch the Men's Volleyball at Horseguards!) so I seem to have dodged another bullet at work...

Ah that's better.......
Being a bit of a Family History buff, some of my birthday money went towards a Y-DNA test. This looks at the Y chromosome which is only passed through the male line. Therefore I should be able to see who my male ancestors were going back a few thousand years!!
So.... will I be descended from a hairdresser, a management consultant or a telephone sanitizer?? There may even be some Jagroth in me

So I'm looking to price a new metal frame vinyl pool on amazon, and somehow this comes up in the search results.
