Too many Channel 4 presenters/shows/fictional characters in that countdown. I'm surprised Marge Simpson didn't make the Top Ten!

Nice to see Jim Morrison in a Titmuff/Cowell sandwich!

What a load of old bollocks these lists are - just think of some iconic sex symbols that aren't on there, sure it's top 100 but these ought to be up there by their profile on the world stage:

Grace Kelly (Princess Grace of Monaco) - she was a stunner in her day!
Audrey Hepburn - adored the world over as a symbol of feminity and style icon to this day

And don't tell me it's because they're dead! There's at least 9 on there pushing up the daisies.

    Obvious recent ones missing
Julia Roberts - still one of the top paid female stars in Hollywood

As for the blokes - Paul Newman isn't even on the list, even now in his 70s I think he's better looking than Tony Blair Oh and Tony's better looking than Clint Eastwood as well.
Poor Old Sir Sean's been kicked into touch too - only about 5 years ago he was supposed to be one of the sexiest men alive... or is that simply James Bond...

I guess the respondents were the readers of some chav mag or other

    87. Jessica Rabbit
She's got nothing on the Cadbury's Caramel Bunny.
    75. Carol Vorderman
She's got two from the top, but the number to aim for was quite low this week.
    21. James Bond
    20. Robbie Williams
Two fictional characters in the top 30!
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

these idiots forget who it was who played James Bond or are they voting for the lot because lets face it Sean Connory is surely worthy of a top 10 place on his own..

These are the only ones i would put on that list, as far as i'm concerned there's tons of 'famous' people out there who have far more charisma than the majority on that list!

I've never quite gone for the whole sex-symbol thing. I can see that Angelina Jolie is attractive, I can see that she's overtly sexual, but that doesn't necessarily make her attractive to me. In-your-face sexuality isn't my thing (yes, I know you're all surprised by that) because I tend to be more attracted by quirks, mannerisms and the way somebody behaves in conversation.

The great thing about Angelina Jolie is that if she licks her lips and presses her mouth against a window she gets stuck there for hours!

What a silly list. I bet James' comments after some of the entries were far more amusing than anything in the programme.

    It's all a fix isn't it really.
I mean we all know that Nicola Bryant should be number 1.
