And I thought the reason why they'd deliberately put it out under the umbrella title "Pond Life" rather than using the "Doctor Who" titles was to indicate that it was meant be light hearted... perhaps I got that wrong.
Anyway it'll be finished today and then we can all get back to moaning about the series proper soon enough.

For what it's worth I much prefer the sinister undertone of the "Night and the Doctor " scenes on the series 6 DVD and even the "Meanwhile in the TARDIS" scenes from the series 5 set but taken purely for what they are I've still found them enjoyable as long as they're not taken too seriously.

Yeah, I suspect that was an exaggeration on the BBC website. A bit of rounding up, as it were.
Well that's good, because as you've probably noticed, it's supposed to be silly!
Well, quite. Have fun, people!

That doesn't mean I have to like itLast edited by duncan; 1st Sep 2012 at 3:25 PM.
I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

Light hearted I don't mind. Silly, I don't like and an Ood in a pinny is a bit silly. It's for those reasons that I hate stories such as Love and Monsters.
Also, why would we all get back to moaning about the series before anyone has seen it? If I don't like an episode, I will say so and I hardly see that as moaning.
Anyway, I am pleased to report that I did actually enjoy the final part of Pond Life.Last edited by duncan; 1st Sep 2012 at 4:11 PM.

Watched about an episode and-a-half of this. Looked like Chibnall copying a few things they've done on the main series, thought it was very unimaginative and unfunny. The basic set-up should be a laugh riot, but all the business with the Ood seemed a bit dull.
They're only a minute long and I can't be bothered watching any more. Should I bother? Does it get better?Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Part 5 is worth watching - the whole thing's only 5 mins 34 so it's hardly the same as watching the whole of Timelash or The God Complex.
