Couldn't they have called it 'The Silly Science Stories'.

Or 'Exciting Adventures Visiting Various Planets'. Mm, catchy...

For pity's sake, they should have called it "The Keeper of Traken, Castrovalva and Logopolis"!
Idiots! Those are the stories in it - it's so simple! It's like they just had to make up their own stupid story title to prove how stupid they were! Return of The Master wasn't much better, but at least it wasn't utterly idiotic. Like "New Beginnings".Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

New Beginnings: New Covers!
Being a bit of a season18 fanboy I really like those covers! They got the colours for the stories just right: Castrovalva is pink! Logopolis is dark blue/ purple!
And even the box is rather nice:

I prefer Barry Piggot's covers on OG.

You can always print them out and stick them over the top of the official ones!

I like them, and the colour scheme.
However:
- A shot of Adric in the web on Castrovalva would have tied it more to the theme.
- I think burgundy might have been a better colour for Logopolis.
The colouring on the other two is perfect, and Logopolis is still though.
Oooh, coconut macaroons!

the covers for Traken & Logopolas look great but Castravalva is to bland and boring ...

I was going to say that with the first two having the Doctor and the Master on them on the left and right sides and an icconic image from the stories in the middle, maybe they should have done the same for Castovalva. Then I thought about the fact it's called 'Nw Beginnings' and realised that it may be more appropriate the way it is. Castrovalva has definitely got the worst cover though.

well now I've had a 2nd look at it the cover for Castravalva is actualy not that bad but I think it would of looked a lot better if it had been more in keeping with the other two and darker colours used insted of pink..

Well Castrovalva is very pink. Think of it of a new brighter future after the doom and gloom of Season 18 (lovely as as it is, of course!). Or something!

He is a season 18 lover!
I like the covers but I always think of Logopolis as a more yellow/orange story myself.

I do love Season 17, but Season 18 is my big actual favourite if push comes to shove.

Si's absolutely right, they're lovely covers - Logopolis is a moody purple, and Castrovalva just is so pinkish. Beautiful!

I think the covers were designed by Lee Binding. I don't know for sure, but he does seem to be doing them all at the mo.
I am out there... somewhere.

They're okay but once again I don't see why they all have to be in hues of one colour. And as these all use purple/pinks it's makes for something of a dayglo headache!
