unfortunantly i'm in the middle of watching every story in transmition order and as I've only just started watching season 13 it's going to be a while before I get to see my box set.

the official release date is next week - I don't know about other internet retailers but i've been pre-ordering my DVD's from Galaxy 4 for a year now and have all ways received my order a good 3 or 4 days before they are out in the shops.

The majority of my online purchases have arrived two days before the release date, i.e. the Saturday before.

And I'm sorry, Larry, but there is no point at all in boasting that you've had yours first when we're all going to be viewing ours well before you do!

I understand what you've already told us about feeling loyal to G4, but look at the maths - you're spending between 7 and 12 more on each DVD than you need to. With their release date upped to around 10 a year that's approx. 100 a year you're throwing away - or 1000 over a ten year period. And that's just Who. Rather you than me!

I binned my copy before I bought it next Thursday after they sold it on delayed release early. Put my foot through the envelope before they posted it as well.

But then if you wait 6-10 months after the main release, most DVD's suffer severe price collapse. But it's nice to have your DVDs delivered early
