Default So What Do We Know About... Professor Thomas Sterling?

A new series (hopefully!) of threads, where we lay down the known facts about the PS Audio characters. Spoilers abound!

Professor Thomas Stirling. He's a University Lecturer from Oxford. And I'll get the obvious one out of the way - he looks a bit like Simon Hart.

He's the Doctor's new companion in this mysterious 'Next Universe'. But Tom has a fractured history of his own. Invaders From Oxford revealed that he'd been working with 'The Protector' to record historical records over the course of thousands of years. His mind has been played with in interesting ways!

Now the Doctor has come into his life and things are getting a whole lot worse.

So what other Professor Thomas Stirling facts do we know?
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

He's got a handy right fist when he needs it.

And he might like the odd book.

I wonder if this stuff will take on a greater significance later on? Actually I suspect we could have a whole thread devoted to discussing "The Protector". I wonder if we'll ever hear from him again!
Also I suspect we could have a whole seperate discussion about what we now know (and indeed still don't know) about the "Next Universe"!

Now the Doctor has come into his life and things are getting a whole lot worse.
    Oh I am intrigued!!

He's an Associate Professor of middle to modern Europan history, he's 34 years old and his favourite band is BAAB.

I know an awful lot about him! I even know what's in his satchel!

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.
