My friends,

As some of you here know, my wife anonymously donated bone marrow earlier this year and saved the life of a lady suffering from leukemia. For a number of reasons, I cannot donate bone marrow myself. But, as a direct consequence of that, I'm doing a 5k race in aid of the Be The Match Foundation - a charity dedicated to both researching better ways to match bone marrow donors with patients, and to encourage more people to sign up for the donation registry.

Anyway, the race is TOMORROW (time has rather slipped away from me), and I am $205 short of my fundraising target. If anyone feels able to give anything at all (even just a couple of dollars) to this worthy cause, I would be very, very appreciative - and owe you a pint or two the next time I see you. Of course, if you don't feel able, then that's just fine too

If anyone wants to donate, details on how to do so are on my page at the Be The Match Foundation site: http://www.bethematchfoundation.org/...40&pg=personal
