Given the extent of his involvement with the DVD releases, it's perhaps a little sad that Colin Baker only has another four stories to contribute to- three if 'Arc of Infinity' has been prepared as rumoured.

That'd be a commentary I'd want to hear, Colin & Peter.

It's been recorded, just a case of when we get to hear it.

He's got such a good voice, they could always get him to narrate documentaries and what-have-you.

Or he could do impressions of Billy Hartnell and do his stories for him.

He's always got Big Finish so anyone that wants to hear his dulcit tones can listen to those and explode.

Does he do a good Hartnell, then?

Looks like Perry Vale was right and this will have an RRP of 19.99 even though it's a "standard"!

Steve Roberts is looking into it.

It certainly will be if you want it signed by Darrow and Glen McCoy! Sounds like a signing and a half at Tenth Planeth.

It's about time that Doctor Who fans had something to complain about.

Should we have seen this coming? Maybe it was just a way of putting less extras on the DVD's/saving costs. Say you are doing 'cut back' DVD's for a cheaper price, then sneak the price back up and keep the minimal extras. Maybe someone somewhere realised we were getting too good a deal.

The whole idea of doing "basic" releases seems to have died on its backside somewhat so far, in that both times it's been attempted, somebody has come up with a couple of extras at the right price. While it'll no doubt work for certain stories in the future (those studio-only stories with only a couple of cast and production members still living, mainly) I can't see that it's worked the way it was supposed to.

He does, doesn't he? How old (or young) was he 23 years ago when he wrote Timelash? Was it his O-Level English exam or something?

I'll be interested to hear what words of wisdom Paul Darrow has to offer, on his performance as Tekker. Personally I think it gives the story a bit of life that by golly it really needs, so it works in the story's favour - but it's by no means a particularly subtle performance...

Do you know, I'm really quite excited about "Timelash" coming out - does this mean I'm mad?

No, i think 'eccentric' will suffice here.
There's a lot worse than 'Timelash'.
