Apparently they've been fully restored and there are new features beiong prepared for the set too, which all sounds promising.

Now this does look promising, something worthwhile on Blu-Ray. They never quite got the DVDs right, there was a glitch or two even on the corrected versions. I'm really looking forward to seeing this new boxset.

Nice. If they come out seperately, it'll make Spearhead look like the non-canon product on my bluray shelf.

Roy Castle sitting on a box of chocolates is surely the greatest moment in cinema history. When Empire Magazine do their top 100 Greatest Cinema Moments, they should include that at Number One because it is the greatest moment in the History of Cinema.

    Tops.

Hopefully they can do some new interviews and include the recently found footage.

Extras TBC apparently but this is exceptionally good news. I knew there was a reason I'd never got around to replacing my faulty version of the first movie.

A few years ago I thought I was the only one on this site who enjoyed these films!

Good to see people embracing the Cushing goodness. It may not be cannon, but they're a lot of fun, and how many of us experienced those early stories.
Remember, just because Davros is dead doesn't mean the Dalek menace has been contained ......

WHAT?! You say they're NOT CANON?!!

On the contrary, these two films are 'Canon', it is this ongoing series about the Time Lord known as The Doctor that is piffledy gafflebab!

Let's face it, at one point they were almost if not entirely the only way we could come close to seeing the stories they were based on.

although I've neve been a fan of these two films I've always thought about buying them so this coming out on blue ray might just make up my mind once and for all.

They must do a special edition, redubbed, where Bernard Cribbins' character is actually revealed to be a young Wilfred Mott, and then, only then, will it be canon. HAHAHAHAHAHA! YES! ALL THINGS WILL BEND TO MY WILL!!!! ALL THIIIIIIINGS!!!!!!!!!

    Lovely stuff.
