Is a bit of a favourite.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Nice bit of tenor sax there!
One of my faves isn't on YouTube so I can't share it :-( It's Bing Crosby with "Christmas Is Here To Stay". Bing's voice is extra velvety and chocolatey on this one!

There are popular 'beat combo' tunes I like, but my alltime favourite Christmas song (which we rarely get to sing at carol services is)
Bazinga !

I never used to like it, but recently it's been getting more attention from me as a Christmas song.
EDIT: I've probably been beaten to it!

This one is a perennial favourite of my 'Miserable Christmas' compilations. A cheery enough tune, but ... 'It wasn't like Christmas at all!' And people going to Oslo...Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

undoubtedly my favourite Christmas records come from 1973, Step Into Christmas, I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday and Merry Christmas Everybody, all of which have reduced me to tears at many a drunken birthday party.

I make no apologies for this, but I just love this one
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

And this is just totally gorgeous...
(though the version on It's a Cool, Cool Christmas is even better!)
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

No need to apologise for those. You can't beat a bit of Boney M.

Even though I'm a big Springsteen fan, this effort by Darlene Love (written by Steve Van Zandt and backed with Springsteen's E Street Band) from the Home Alone 2 soundtrack is an overlooked Christmas classic which beats any of the Boss's own efforts.
