Default The Light at the End: Available now!

"The jewel in the crown of the non TV anniversary celebrations..." according to DWM.

I'm going to leave this as a place holder thread for now until the rest of you have had a chance to catch up

How intriguing... I know BF have been tweeting about this a lot over the last week or so, but otherwise, I know nothing...

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

The latest DWM which hits the shops tomorrow (my subscriber's copy arrived early for once and on a day when I was at home to receive it) reveals all... exciting stuff!

If it's in DWM, please spill the beans, Richard!

    Very well...

"a full-blown multi-Doctor adventure featuring all five surviving Doctors from the original twentieth-century run of the television series."

Key point is this the first proper meeting of the Doctors since The Sirens of Time it will not be a cheat like Zagreus or The Four Doctors in which they played other characters or didn't meet properly.

Another point of note is that Tom specifically requested to be involved.

Some on here will have mixed feelings about the fact that the story has been written by Executive Producer Nicholas Briggs.

That's VERY exciting! Not too bothered about the fact it's written by Briggs. He's done a few good things recently - UNIT: Dominion springs to mind...

This probably means we won't get them teaming up on TV doesn't it? As they wouldn't have a multi-Doctor story on both audio and TV at the same time featuring the same cast.

Who knows. Maybe they'll let it happen this year, for the fans?

Well quite... we know *nothing* yet and it's worth remembering that. They don't even go in front of the camera till April!

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

    Synopsis

November 23rd 1963 proves to be a significant day in the lives of all eight Doctors…

It's the day that Bob Dovie's life is ripped apart…

It's also a day that sets in motion a catastrophic chain of events which forces the first eight incarnations of the Doctor to fight for their very existence. As a mysterious, insidious chaos unfolds within the TARDIS, the barriers of time break apart…

From suburban England through war-torn alien landscapes and into a deadly, artificial dimension, all these Doctors and their companions must struggle against the power of an unfathomable, alien technology.

From the very beginning, it is clear that the Master is somehow involved. By the end, for the Doctors, there may only be darkness.

Be careful - if you get that on the CD and put in into your computer drive you might end up with a whole host of mini-discs

What we're all missing here, as reported in DWM is that Tom suggested this! Yes TOM!

He's really returning to the Who fold with gusto isn't he?? Can you imagine the BF lunch spread for those recording sessions, having to feed an army of Doctors!

I won't be convinced they recorded their bits together until I see photos. And even then I'll cry photoshop.

Would it satisfy you if they recorded it in your front room?

In which case, I'll get The Lads out of hibernation...
