Default How do you operate modern toys?

My house mate has left a large teddy bear in the back room, on the table. Maybe he's won it in a raffle. Odd thing is it has a huge belly and ugly stumpy legs. There's an open hatch in it's front. Are these things battery operated?

Also, someone has left a pile of what look like huge Ferrero Rocher chocolates near my door. On closer inspection they seem to be large metal balls, but they play a nice whistling tune and roll across the floor by themselves. Quite fun really. Does anyone know what they're for? Do you think they sell on ebay?

I'd ask my housemate, but he seems to have gone missing.

Many people seem to be able to operate these new-fangled bear toys. Yet I... am unable to.

    Default Telesnaps

Seriously, I've been listening to "The abominable snowmen" recently, while viewing telesnaps and it's made an impression. I've fond memories of the Target novelisation, which helps.

Does anyone have problems with viewing telesnaps though? Sometimes the action moves almost as fast as you can flick through the slides (which almost replicates the Tv moving image, which is quite odd) and other times you're stuck on one photo for three minutes, or a really short scene is ommitted from the telesnaps altogether. It has tried my patience at times, but the good story tends to move it along.

What does anyone think? I do tend to wonder how good the direction was too, but I suppose we'll never know now (although part 2 gives an idea I suppose).

Whoah! The thread has done a TARDIS and taken me to the General forum!

You guys are a little too eager and a little TOO concientious! I wanted to start the thread in a funny way (but it wasn't really happening admittedly)...but I did think "surely I can get a joke in first and get to my real question later, before someone takes it out of the Who forum.."

    Nope.

Can we put it back please?

    Ta!

Thanks Si! I was being a bit too clever there. It's taught me that I can't change the thread title after I've posted though. Or...am I wrong??
