    Default Target Who

    A group of Doctor Who fans have snapped up 11,000 copies of 36 Target Doctor Who books from eBay. Their aim? To donate at least one to as many schools around the UK as possible to help promote reading for children, as part of DW's 50th Anniversary.

    I think it's a great idea! If anyone is interested in helping, here's a link to their blog which includes links to their Facebook and Twitter sites as well...more details on the project will be coming soon!

    The Target Masterplan

    There’s a rumour going around about a crazy Doctor Who fan that bought 11,000 Target Doctor Who books off eBay and never even got a full set! There is a grain of truth in it. There was an eBay auction of 11,000 Doctor Who books, multiple copies of 36 titles. However, it wasn’t one Doctor Who fan that bought them, it was a small group of us. We didn’t buy them for ourselves - We have a plan, and when you read what it is below, you just might think we are all a little crazy...

    What a marvelous idea! I hope that they can get some in Bracknell!

    It's a splendid idea and a great example of fans using their passion for the show in a really constructive way. Sometimes Doctor Who fans are really brilliant!

    DW Target books certainly turned me on to reading as a kid. And I'm guessing I'm not the only one :-) I really hope this project is a success
