Arcade Fire

Arcade Fire's 2nd album's out on Monday, and I can't wait to buy it.

I know there have been some mixed reviews of it, but what I've heard of it so far (Black Mirror, Neon Bible, Antichrist Television Blues) it sounds great. If the rest of the album is this consistent than it might even be (slightly) better than the first, and I really love Funeral, it's an album that's rarely off my stereo for long, and I'm the kind of person who normally over-listens to an album for about 3 months and then doesn't play it for ages afterwards.

They're the one band around at the moment that I'm absolutely desperate to see, but alas they don't gig here that much, and there recent dates in January sold out in about 2 hours. One day I'll see them though, one day.

Anyway, any other fans? And has anyone heard the album yet? Or are definitely planning to get it?

'Funeral' is one of my favourite albums of the decade.


'Neon Bible' got ripped to bits on Newsnight Review last week... so I won't be buying it.
