Royal Baby Boy!
This lady is about to do what billions of others have done before her - pop a sprog down on Planet Earth.
But this is different, this Sprog may one day have their face adorning our money! Personally I reckon they should bypass the process and put the baby's face on our pound coins as soon as they are born. It may go against protocol, but it would be soooo coooooot!!!! Aw look at the little Woyal baby face every time you hand over your cash to a drug dealer in a dingy little basement in Harringey.
Ahem, anyway, the Royal Baby is on it's way!Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

The BBC say:
The new royal baby will be the Queen's third great-grandchild. It will be expected to take the throne following reigns by Prince Charles and then Prince William

It was funny last night, Mr Rayner with immaculate timing stormed at the TV "Oh are they still going on about it, there's nothing to say!" and then we saw it had been born so at that point there was actually a bit to say.
This morning though, there really was nothing more to say and people in silly hats who used to work for the Queen were still droning on. Also several stupid members of the public repeated the mantra "It's a once in a lifetime opportunity!" [to spend the evening standing outside Buckingham Palace where neither the Dutchess or her new baby were]. How is a baby a once in a lifetime event? Most people who have them have two or three. Also if Kate just has one and it turns out to be gay, the monarchy is screwed. So I guess she'll pop a few more out just in case.

Even if he did turn out to be gay, I really think the Monarchy would cover it up and marry him off anyway; so the line of succession would continue.

The Monarchy thrives on having enough family to propagate the throne. Henry VIII, (who coincidentally looked just like Ray Winstone) famously had it away with every woman in the land trying to get a son to be his heir. Things didn't quite work out that way in the end.
I've not been following the coverage with avid interest on the 24 hr news channels, but if I had then that would make me a very sad Hector.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Edward II and James I were gay and still had sons who became king (Edward III and Charles I).
Even if the Hon. Sproglet Mountbatten-Windsor* were childless for whatever reason, Prince Harry's Plan B and Prince Andrew's Daughters are Plan C etc.
* - and this will be Baby's name give or take the Sproglet, since only a monarch's children and grandchildren, and those they marry, may be princes or princesses.

So he's Prince George. Like everyone guessed, oddly.

Yes.
Personally, I'm rather frustrated that a lot of media outlets are saying that he will be George VII. That is far from confirmed - Prince Charles could well take the name George (as his Grandfather did), as it is one of his middle names, and Charles is held to be an "unlucky" name for a King. The new baby could well end up as George VIII!
And another sobering thought - it's entirely possible that very few of us on here will live to see the day that this baby becomes King!
I'm in a cheerful mood this evening.

So it's Boy George, then

Prince Charles will be lucky to be King
The baby boy is likely to be on the thrown at the turn of the next century.
I doubt anyone here will be around to see that!Assume you're going to Win

Ebenezer Wallis was personally responsible for throwing King Canute in the sea, and is quite prepared to sit out eternity if it means there's a couple of bob in it!
