Companions Poll: The Second Doctor
Fewer companions for the Doctor's most mercurial of manifestations! Anyone would think that he didn't get on with people. But what he lacks in quantity he makes up for with Victoria Waterfield.
I've scanned the interwebs for evidence of spin-off companions, but there's not been a single one who's lasted for more than one story. There's 'Lady Serena' who appeared in one book, World Game and Barnabus the Robot who appeared in the comic strip 'Banrabus'. By that count, Professor Travers is more of an official companion than any of them!
I'll have to stick John and Gillian here to, so I can justify including Frobisher later.
And no, Benandpolly does not count as one companion.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!
