Companions Poll: The Fourth Doctor
Oh, which to choose? The Fourth Doctor has been paired up with some of the most memorable companions in the show's history, from Tin Dogs to Time Ladies and even a man. All of them are wonderful, all of them much loved. The first, Sarah-Jane Smith, he inherited from his predecessor but he soon forged his own winning relationship with her. Don't forget the affable Harry Sullivan! Then there's Leela, savage warrior of the Sevateem who underwent a steady learning process right up until The Sunmakers when she became stupid again.
In the comic strip he was joined by Sharon, who helped him to defeat Beep the Meep, while his latest companion is Mrs Wibbsey, who joined him for the marvelous Hornets' Nest series of adventures.
But which of the fourth Doctor companions is your favourite?Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Same here with Harry a very close second. The fourth DOctor, Sarah and Harry were my favourite Tardis crew of the classic series
I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

Sarah was always my favourite and her brilliant appearances in the 21st century in both DW and SJA only served to cement that feeling.
I'm also particularly fond of Leela, both with and without K-9.

Lalla Ward's Romana was and is my very favourite companion. As the RT 20th abnniversary special put it- She and the Doctor were the perfect team.
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

K-9, a clever and obidient robot dog. Always popular with the youngsters. A robot animal companion seemed like a very good idea and it worked well.

Grovelling apologies to Louise Jameson, who more than deserves my vote, but I'm afraid it has to be Sarah.

Well I've voted for Mrs Wibbsey. If you haven't heard Hornets' Nest / Demon Quest / Serpent's Crest then you're missing out on a treat. I always like a companion who can cut down the Doctor and stand up to him and Mrs Wibbsey is certainly capable of that. As far as I'm concerned she's a star!
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

"I'm feeling a little wibbsey, Mrs Woozy!"
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

I was going to choose Romana 1.
Then I saw the wonderful Mrs Wibbsey on the options. She's just hilarious!
Doctor: "Mrs Wibbsey, I want to take you and show you the universe"
Wibbs: "Go boil your head"

All six could win this (yes, I said six ) but it just has to be the eternally wonderful Sarah Jane Smith for me.
