And so ... the top 3 looks like this:-

Joint third place is Si Hart & Duncan with 44 points each. You played a blinder boys - well done!!!

But who will have the calendar, and who will have the mystery prize? I'll come back to you two later.....

So ..... *drum roll* our first place winner .... successfully defending his crown is .... JON MASTERS with 46 points. Huge congrats to you Jon - the Amazon e-vouchers will be winging their way to you shortly.

I would say goodbye and "thank you ... that's what I wanted to know", but Si Hart & Duncan have unfinished business. Stay tuned for details of the 2nd and 3rd place play-offs....

Well done, Jon - will he 'do the double' again this year with the DWM Quiz as well...?

So, does this mean there is a 'Tie Breaker Situation'?!

Many thanks, Dave - can now start eyeing up DW goodies.

I propose Messrs Hart and Duncan settlte this the Star Trek way - stripped to the waist in hand to hand combat. Cue the Gladitorial Fight Scene music !!

ETA I hope so , Andrew - down to my last 3 questions, but these are turning out to to be a nightmare !
    Bazinga !

Well done Jon. I hope you buy something nice with the vouchers.

OK Mr Hart, there's a calendar at stake.......
I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

Congratulations Jon! A well deserved win. A true Master of quizzes!

So playoffs to come then... Very exciting!

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Delighted with my best ever score on this Quiz.
It really has been a highlight of my Christmas and made me appreciate more why I'm on this forum.

Merry Christmas Nyder, and thanks for putting this together.

Okay Duncan & Si - this is how we'll do it. We'll do it "live" on this thread - no more private messaging!

We need to agree between the three of us when we'll all be here on the thread. On that agreed date and time I'll post an "are you there?" message. Assuming you both post back, my next post will be the tie-break question. The first person to answer (correctly!) gets 2nd place.

Everybody else could be watching the thread too, so no pressure there!

So we just need to agree a date and time now. Over to you two ....

Ooh, how exciting. Hope I don't get stage fright!

Well, I am available all day today and saturday evening. I'll be in and out on Sunday so can't pin point a definite time.

I'm at work today, but could probably do 1.30 during my lunch hour.
