Default Ultimate Doctor Who: Series 2

A new Doctor, same old Rose, and we're off again for more adventures. They're joined by Mickey for a bit, meet Sarah Jane and K9, see off the Cybermen (twice), take on cat nuns, the Wire (is HUNGRRRRRRRRRRY!), and satan himself (possibly) before the Daleks and Doomsday!

    But which is your favourite?

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

    Hello. I'm Sarah Jane Smith.
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Rise of the Cybermen/ Age of Steel

In spite of Roger Lloyd Pack, this is good drama.

Love & Monsters for me. I'm one of those who thought that School Reunion was actually a bit of a non-starter.

It would have been Fear Her, being the episode where I finally got used to David's Doctor (and also, I think it's a rather jolly little episode)... except that School Reunion has K9 and Sarah in it, and makes me both happy & sad every time I watch it.

So was I, but then I thought most of the season were non-starters. Rise Of The Cybermen was by far the best, and I have to agree with Wayne about Trigger.

Yeah the "Can do no wrong" sheen of the first series didn't seem to travel over to this series at first. Leaving aside The Christmas Invasion which I still love, it didn't really take off until School Reunion. And experienced some nosedives near the end of the series.

I totally disagree with these comments about the quality of Season 2. There's so much good stuff in there; there's more silliness and fun, but I think the series started to spread it's wings a bit more this year.

As much as I love T&C, Girl, Rise/Age & Army/Doomsday it just has to be School Reunion.

    School Reunion, without a doubt.

Some great episodes here, but I think I would have voted for 'Tooth & Claw' which I think is incredibly underrated.
