    1. What was your best subject at school?
    English I think.

    2. What's your most treasured possession?
I don't know really, I suppose things can tend to acquire a sort of quality beyond themselves, either by reminding us of who we were when we got them, or who we got them from, or whatever. (I think I'm floundering around for the phrase 'sentimental value' here...) On that basis, ridiculous as it sounds, probably the Tom & Peter TARDIS tins I have on my shelf, one bought by Mum from Carlisle Post Office in, at a guess, 1980 and one bought by Zel from eBay in, I think, 2008. In a "because it has no call to be here, the art lies in the fact that it is here" kind of a way, the fact that (other than in the case of the Tom one, very briefly holding some toffees in 1980) neither of them has any proper function for me gives them a sense of being 'just' a gift, knowing that I'd like it.

    3. What car do you drive?
    Our one.

    Oh I see - it's a Kia Picanto. It's red.

    4. Did you belong to any clubs when you were a kid?
I was in the Dennis the Menace fan club if that counts (DING).

    5. What was the last book you read?
Embarassingly it was the pretty-bad PDA "The King of Terror" by Keith Topping. I wouldn't recommend it, but I was bored & had to read something.

    6. What's your ideal pet?
Well, if the dogs we had didn't poo & lick quite so much they'd be perfect. Oh, and if Max could sleep a little longer of a Saturday morning, that'd be a definite improvement too.

    7. What's your favourite Ice Cream flavour?
    Mint Choc Chip.

    8. When did you last go the theatre?
    Crikey. Um, 2012 I think.

    9. Who would you most like to meet from PS that you haven't done already?
    The eternally-youthful Si Hunt.

    10. Tell us something about yourself that we didn't know before...
I once played the lead in a school production of Oliver.

    1. What was your best subject at school? History

    2. What's your most treasured possession?
That's a hard one. Mary asked me that a few months ago and I couldn't give an honest answer. I couldn't narrow it down! But for the moment I'd pick my 1st edition copy of Trevor Hoyle's original Blakes 7 novel...in those pre-video days of 1978 it was the only momento I had of the series, particularly after the events of Orac and not even knowing whether there would be a second series...

    3. What car do you drive?
    Ford Fiesta Zetec

    4. Did you belong to any clubs when you were a kid? Ayrshire Astronomical Society

    5. What was the last book you read? Space 1999: Breakaway by EC Tubb

    6. What's your ideal pet?
A cat. Much as I love dogs, we just don't have the time to commit to having one...it's not fair to leave it shut in the house all day when we're at work, for starters. Cats are more independent and don't need as much attention...unless they want it!

    7. What's your favourite Ice Cream flavour? Mint Choc Chip

    8. When did you last go the theatre?
Last November in London to see Wicked...I fell asleep!

    9. Who would you most like to meet from PS that you haven't done already? Wayne.

    10. Tell us something about yourself that we didn't know before... I'm hopeless at DIY. I've always got stuff to do but a drill in my hand is a recipe for disaster

    3. What car do you drive?
    VW Urban Fox

    Bazinga !

    1. What was your best subject at school?
I was a bit of a swot, so I was good in most, but best as in favourite I'd say a toss up between art and English Lit.
    2. What's your most treasured possession?
I don't really form attachments to stuff these days, but I have pictures my youngest has painted for me, and letters that special people have written for me in the past.
    3. What car do you drive?
The last car I had was a Rover 800 that died a few years ago, and it's public transport all the way now.
    4. Did you belong to any clubs when you were a kid?

One of the Pathfinder rule books, probably the Advanced Player Guide.
    6. What's your ideal pet?
    Reek
    7. What's your favourite Ice Cream flavour?
Seville Orange, Cointreau and Dark Chocolate (yup, that's one flavour).
    8. When did you last go the theatre?
This time last year, to see The Lady Killers, with Michelle Dotrice and Clive Mantle
    9. Who would you most like to meet from PS that you haven't done already?
Ooooh, a hard one. And so unfair. It'd have to be a toss up between our founder Ant, Wayne, and the Clan Curnow.
    10. Tell us something about yourself that we didn't know before...
I have been kicked by Tadashi Yamashita

    1. What was your best subject at school?

Drama and French. I got A's in both when I did my O'Levels which sort of qualifies me to be a French actor.

    2. What's your most treasured possession?

My house. We bought it back in 1999 for just £70,000 and have been over paying on the mortgage every month. We have just four years to run on it and then we will be looking at selling. My neighbour has just sold his for £240,000 and by the time Crossrail opens along the road at Abbey Wood station, I could be looking at £280-300,000 for it.

    3. What car do you drive?

A black Vauxhall Meriva. I personally hate it but it was my wife's choice. I would like a Citreon DS3 next time.

    4. Did you belong to any clubs when you were a kid?

Yes, I was in the Boys Brigade for many years.

    5. What was the last book you read?

The latest Jack Reacher thriller by Lee Childs called No Way Back.

    6. What's your ideal pet?

I've always wanted a labrador, I just love them especially when they are puppies.

    7. What's your favourite Ice Cream flavour?

Lemon. I always have a lemon ice with a flake when the ice cream van comes calling.

    8. When did you last go the theatre?

I've had to think of this one as it's been a while but a group of us from the office went about three years ago to see Priscilla, Queen of the Desert

    9. Who would you most like to meet from PS that you haven't done already?

Probably not fair to answer. I've met a few of you at the one PS meet I attended in 2012. (Talk about sitting on the fence)

    10. Tell us something about yourself that we didn't know before...

In 1998, I issued Kate O'Mara with a £10.00 penalty fare when she arrived at Piccadilly Circus without a ticket.
I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

Yes, on 31 May. Apparantly, Brian May and Ben Elton have completed a workshop for the sequel.

    1. What was your best subject at school?
My best subject at school was probably Graphical Communication (design/technical drawing) as I enjoyed it and it was the best GSCE grade I got, but my favourite subject was History, I think.

    2. What's your most treasured possession?
Someone called Martin, but I'm sure he'd argue as to whether I possess him or not...

    3. What car do you drive?
A black Honda Civic - I'm sure Mr Hart will approve...

    4. Did you belong to any clubs when you were a kid?
    The Lego builders' club.

    5. What was the last book you read?
I'm currently reading Underground Overground by Andrew Martin, but the last book was Agatha Christie's The Clocks.

    6. What's your ideal pet?
A Border Collie. They're the most amazingly intelligent dogs!

    7. What's your favourite Ice Cream flavour?
Pistachio, though you can't beat a really good chocolate ice cream.

    8. When did you last go the theatre?
Christmas Eve last year, to see the Dame Edna Everage farewell tour.

    9. Who would you most like to meet from PS that you haven't done already?
    Lissa or The Curnows.

    10. Tell us something about yourself that we didn't know before...

    Best Subject At Skool
I was a bit of a swot in school and Maths was the subject that I excelled at. I was lucky that I had some really good Math’s teachers throughout my schooling. Whereas my older sister had a really awful teacher during her O-levels. Luckily a family friend (a retired Maths teacher) gave her extra tuition and she scraped a pass. I actually enjoyed Chemistry best of all. Much fun in the fume cupboard ;-)

    Most Treasured Possession
My grandmother’s ring. I have a photo of her with the ring on with her arms on my shoulder. That photo is also a treasured possession.

    Fave car
I hate driving. It stresses me out no end. When I moved to London I quite happily sold my car (it was a Punto).

    Clubs wot i joined
I was in the Cub Scouts from 1979 to 1981. When it clashed with The Hitch-Hiker’s Guide To The Galaxy on TV, I told my parents I was bored of cubs. Luckily they said I could stop going. Hoorah for Hitch-Hikers!! I was also a member of Doctor Who Weekly’s UNIT Club. I got a membership card and a code-breaker sheet!

    Latest book
The last book I read was Philip Gould’s “When I Die”. It’s a book about dying of cancer. Not the happiest of reads – I think it’s back to Tom Sharpe after this.

    Ideal Pet
My ideal pet would be a psychic octopus who would choose my winning Lotto numbers.

    Fave ice-cream
A bit boring, but Raspberry Ripple. Closely followed by Mint Choc Chip.

    Last play
I saw “This May Hurt A Bit” starring Patricia Routledge at the St James Theatre in London. It was a damning criticism of the state of the NHS. Julian Clary was appearing in cabaret in the downstairs studio, and was outside having a cigarette when I went in.

    PS Personage
I have never met the lesser-spotted Mr Wallis so that would be my suggestion

    Nyder Factoid
When I was on holiday in 1979 I befriended a girl whose Dad had unsuccessfully auditioned to be the replacement for Den Hegarty in Darts. He was unsuccessful because he had tonsillitis at the time.

    1. What was your best subject at school?

Science and Maths. You can't be an evil supervillain if you can't work out the amount you've just teleported out of the safe in the Halifax!

    2. What's your most treasured possession?

Possibly an autographed copy of Donald Swann's autobiography (as in Flanders and...)

    3. What car do you drive?

    I don't.

    4. Did you belong to any clubs when you were a kid?

The Airfix Modellers' Club, which folded three months later; the school games club; and a couple of after-school affairs, only because the men who ran them were family friends.

    Strawberry.

    8. When did you last go the theatre?

Over thirty years ago - I wasn't at all impressed.

    9. Who would you most like to meet from PS that you haven't done already?

Possibly Messrs. Hart and McCow - although I'd just like to point out that based on the answers given to this question so far, Mr. Nyder knows who's going to survive come the revolution...

    10. Tell us something about yourself that we didn't know before

    I am Carol Baynes.

Oh, alright, something sensible then! I've met George Martin.
