England are playing Bermuda in St. Vincent. It's a World Cup warm-up match.
    currently 87 - 2 from 14 overs. Wickets were Joyce for 7 & Vaughan for 18

Bowlers looked decent enough, not that they were pushed too hard, but we shouldn't really have lost 8 wickets to that line-up. Dwayne Leverock... really?

Apperently he is a Bermudan policeman who lives in a flat above a curry house.

Oh I agree. I was hard pushed not to start swearing at the TV when we just seemed to give our wickets away.

And we seemed to struggle against a spinner when we did quite well against Warne in Oz.

Our bowlers hardly had any resistance but had problems with no-balls etc.

Somebody needs to tell him to go down there himself rather than getting them to deliver.

Another One day warm up. England Vs Australia.
England are batting & are 20-1 after 5 overs.
Joyce out LBW, no ambiguity over this, totally out done for pace off Tate.

Michael Vaughan 31 runs from 27 balls. He's looking good.

    You watch him get out.

Well, aside from Vaughan and Bell we all looked a bit crap today, frankly. Mahmood is very expensive to be playing one-day... selection dilemma over the bowlers is very difficult. When fit and available, our four best test bowlers pick themselves. Why is Hoggard not considered a one-day bowler? The same way Panesar wasn't? I don't understand at all.

I think I'm correct in saying that Hoggard has declared himself unavailable for selection for ODI's.
As for yesterdays performance... We really can't get it together can we? I don't know, we have some success in Oz & suddenly we think we can sit back & the win will come to us by right...I can't see England getting passed the Semi finals.

    By whom...? Australia got lucky!

The Blarney Army's playing Zimbabwe as we speak. Ireland batting, 17-1 after the fifth over.

yep it was a fantastic result for the Irish -

as for England not a great start against New Zealand, we're batting and are currently 19-1 after almost 7 overs.

    171 for 7 after 46 overs.

And we finish at 209 for 7. Plunkett & Nixon partnership of 71 unbeaten.

considering we were about 159 for 7 with 6 overs left we did very well to even reach the 200 mark.

Great start for the bowlers. They seem to have left the great finish in Australia.
