Anyone remember those old Star Trek Fotonovels from the late 70s, which adapted an episode of the series in each book? Well, the concept has been revived and updated with new stories being published on a quarterly basis, all-new stories being told with photomontages taken from the original series. Sometimes it's obvious that certain images are being used repeatedly but overall it's very effective and actually feels like we're seeing a new unseen TOS episode...

I've read a couple of them and can highly recommend them. Also worth checking out is IDW's comic adaptation of Harlan Ellisons original unused teleplay of City On The Edge Of Forever. Great art paired with a great story makes for interesting reading.
