Ha ha Phil. You can only use your jokers BEFORE you see the question. Thanks for clearing that up :-)

Just to be clear for those of us taking part for the first time...I assume that the joker must be played before the question is asked on any particular day, rather than waiting to see whether a question suits you before playing it?
Not that it'll matter to me much...the only prize I'll be playing for is the wooden spoon!

Oops...the question has been answered already...that's what I get for going away and leaving a post partly written then coming back to finish it!

Well, if that's the case I'll just pick my dates now then. Here's hoping that they'll prove lucky for me, I'll take the non-Who one on the 18th and the Who one on the 20th. Lucky hopefully because my birthday's in between them, unlucky probably because it's a big one!

Duly noted Kenny - good luck :-)

Good Morning and Happy December! Welcome to Nyder's Famously Fiendish Festive Quiz for 2014 - we're off and running
No-one is playing their joker today, obviously banking on the fiendish fact that I won't be making Day 1 an easy one......
Now don't forget - message your answers to me, don't post them here
Who is this?
You have until roughly this time tmw to answer.
Good luck!

Off to a fiendish start then!
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

I'm not seeing anything? Should there be a picture or a link?
I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

I've had a few correct answers so far - I should have made it HARDER (said the bishop to the bishop)

I thought that was a pretty easy one to start things off with, actually! I really expected a lot harder and tougher than that!
Says me who has probably guessed completely wrong and has just put his foot firmly in his mouth...

Thanks to all those who took part yesterday - the answer was Mr Hulk himself - LOU FERRIGNO. Congrats to the many of you who got that right!
Onto Day 2 - and one mystery person is playing their Who Joker today so they get 2 points if they get this right (the rest of you get 1 point).
It's an audio clip from the latest season of Who - but can you name the episode??
