I think I know today's, but I'm not sure how to check without watching it & if wrong I'm screwed.

Is the first one four items in one story, or is it four different stories, one item for each? (If you see what I mean).

I assumed it was all 4 in one story (since Dave didn't mention 1 point for each )

I like today's style of question, but that's probably because I know which story it is .

I refuse to even think about the horror of Saturday's question until tomorrow morning

Well of course, it's easy if you know it. Which, luckily, I think I do!

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

I've just listened to the cacophony of sounds that's Saturday's question.

    Oh dear God!

I'm glad I saw that as I mis-read the question and was looking at four different stories. So far I have come up with each item (except the Dettol) in different stories!

As for the music mash-up, I've got one of them so far.

Me too Duncan, that's why I thought I'd better check. I was fine except for "the one with the Dettol"

I think I've got two of the songs.

My old deaf ears are struggling to work out where the third one might be - there's the odd note that might be it, but I can't really hear enough to have a stab at it.

    Kids - don't listen to rock,n,roll. You'll go deaf

I think I've got one of the songs, and a second I should know but just can't quite place it yet...haven't a clue about number 3, though!

Welcome to Day Whatever-it-is. 14 I think! Whilst yr still agonising over the 70s cacophony, here's Sunday's question to distract you. Name the actress

Yes it is day 14 and do I get a point for you re-using the word cacophony from my previous post ?

It's another music question. 3 more intros for you to unravel - only this time they're all playing at the same time, with one song fiendishly low in the mix. They're all Number 1's from the 1970s, so what could be simpler?? I want the SONG not the artist please.

I have 2, the 'low in the mix' is so low I can't actually make anything out!

I've given up with the songs! One is really obvious but for the life of me I just can't get it and I'll be kicking myself when I see what it is! I think I have one of them though, and I can't even hear the third!

Ditto. I just can't pick out the third track and have given up trying.

    Goodly Mornings!

As somebody once sang "There are more questions than answers" so I'll attempt to redress the balance:-

Day 12 - all those artefacts came from THE SEEDS OF DOOM (2 of you wrongly guessed Mind of Evil, and we had a War Games answer too).

Day 13 - the songs were:-

UNDER THE MOON OF LOVE (Showaddywaddy)
    RAT TRAP (Boomtown Rats)

and hiding deep down in the mix which nobody got was:-

EYE LEVEL (Van Der Valk theme - Simon Park Orchestra)

Day 14 - it wasn't Miriam Margolyes, or Shelley Winters, it was in fact Grotbags herself, CAROL ANN SCOTT

There's a Leaderboard update tomorrow, but in the meantime.....

Although it's a non-Who day, someone is talking about Richard Hurndall. But who is it?

Ha! My wife nagged me into submitting Waterloo as the third track. I had no clue what it was but will take great pleasure in telling her she was wrong too.
