    Default Looking Back ... Keepsake

Season 1 continues with the byte-sized story Keepsake.

It sees the first time a villain from Classic Doctor Who makes an appearance in our stories. It follows on from the cliffhanger in The Soap of Fatal Death and mini-adventure for Rob.

    Hooray!

"Are you fond of... diving, Ben?"

Good stuff for Jonno and Dave Taylor in this one, plus Ant Cox as a returning villain. It's all to PLAY for!
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

It was a hoot. Not the most densely written adventure, and I was shocked at how short it clocked in when I came to edit it, but I'd like to see Big Finish record a complete story in a few hours AND allow the cast to rehearse it through as well. I think everyone appreciated that, and it was a luxury we would never have again! It was all thanks to that slender running time. But it's not half bad really is it? It makes sense, there are some fun moments and Ant's Toymaker is a good villain. I look at it as a means to a pleasant afternoon. The fact there was a Doctor Who story made out of it is an extra little take-home gift.

Absolutely, and I think this was the adventure that the Rob we came to love was really brought to life

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Considering I'm not normally a fan of Doctor-less/lite stories it says a lot for this charming adventure that it remains one of my all-time favourite PS audios

Plus it gave Jonno a chance to shine, always a good thing! And it has a whimiscal, Sunday-afternoon feel. It reminds me of the Terry Nation Dalek Special when they five into the water and discover the ship.

    Economic storytelling!
