Troughton Survivor - The Result
We've come to the end of the Troughton Survivor, but what is the story Planet Skaro has voted to win the game?
Eviction:
Tomb of the Cybermen 6
Web of Fear 3
It was looking likely in the semi-final and the final has confirmed the result. With 6 Eviction votes, Tomb of the Cybermen drops out leaving us our winner...
Web of Fear!!!
Evicted
Space Pirates
Dominators
Ice Warriors
Highlanders
Underwater Menace
Power of the Daleks
Faceless Ones
Wheel In Space
Fury from the Deep
Macra Terror
Enemy of the World
Seeds of Death
Mind Robber
Krotons
War Games
Evil of the Daleks
Moonbase
Abominable Snowmen
Invasion
Tomb of the Cybermen
Winner
Web of Fear
So what do you think about the result? Did any stories do better or worse than you expected? Where did your personal Top 3 or Top 5 come in the end?

I'm personally delighted with the winner. My Top 5 all came in the Top 10 - Web of Fear, Tomb of the Cybermen, Moonbase, War Games and Mind Robber in that order. I am surprised Power of the Daleks went so early and Fury From the Deep went sooner than I expected.
Krotons lasted far far longer than I expected and was very much the Space Museum of the Troughton Survivor.

What I find sort of interesting is that, other than perhaps the winner, the list suggests that whether a story exists or not hasn't really influenced its popularity (or otherwise). So Space Pirates & The Dominators are rubbing shoulders right at the bottom, and similarly Evil of the Daleks is just above The War Games.
A worthy winner (probably - although I didn't vote for it!) and good to see Tomb coming in close behind.

I'm not surprised at 'Web of Fear' winning. I think most of us would include it in our Top 3 of the 2nd Doctor stories. Tomb of the Cybermen, Evil of the Daleks and the Mind Robber are all in the Top 10 as well. But I'm surprised Krotons finished so high and Enemy of the World outside the Top 10.

I was surprised Power of the Daleks went so early too. Who DID that?
Not in the least bit surprised that Web of Fear won, but only to be expected given its well deserved 'newly found classic' status.
I'm pleased that Tomb and Moonbase did well, and a fairly good performance for Evil of the Daleks . If Seeds of Death had lasted a bit longer, that would've covered all my Troughton favourites.

I can't complain about the winner. There really wasn't much to seperate the last few stories, so I'm happy!
