I've just spotted a mistake. I could've sworn that Paul voted yesterday for Undiscovered Country at the same time as I did, and I amended it accordingly. But looking back his vote is now saying First Contact. Perhaps he quickly edited, or I'm losing it.

I "KHAAAAAAAAAN!"t stand that film.

Into Darkness? It's not just me then!
What I really hate at the basic level is that it blatantly rips off Wrath of Khan so much that it is actually insulting. The pivotal scene in WoK when Spock sacrifices himself is genuinely moving and a natural climax of the theme running through the film. ID version was patronising, contrived and unbelieveable. And Spock technically did die at the end.
And Ricardo Montalban would have trampled all over Benedict Cumberbatch's Khan.
