While City is a cracker of an episode, I just feel that Menegerie managed to add so much background to the series, bringing a sense of history and depth so early in the series run. All the more impressive for me because it was an episode made on the cheap, designed simply to make use of previously unseen material

I agree with some of the comments about the scoring though, while it's been fun it certainly has been a bit of a marathon because of the simple fact that only a few people are playing it. Roll on Season 2, though!

Couldn't agree more, Kenny.
The Cage in its own right, even without the regular cast, is such a compelling episode. To have wrapped the proper cast around it and making it into a 2 parter is the icing on the cake.
