It's made me want to watch Timelash. But that might just be me.

I think that was a feature of their spaceship ( a bit like a heart monitor) - one of them reports that 'Harry fake' is no longer registering, they check something else and then Broton gets them to disperse the body so that the Unit soldiers don't find it.
Don't worry , Andrew, debate is always good (unlike Time Lash)Bazinga !

And unlike Timelash, Zygons don't make you choke on Shreddies.

The new ones can, by mind control
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

OK, watched Ep 2 now - enjoyed it more than 1, but still not great for me
Liked
- Bonnie vs Clara; the Osgoods; the Doctor's long speech ( just a bit too long); someone actually shooting Zygons
Disliked
- bruising from being hit over the head by the allegory again; more magical Zygons powers
- UNIT being so pathetic
And am I correct in thinking if Bonnie had stuck to the simpler plan of switching off the Zygon's body copy by hand ( like the supermarket guy) then the war would have started anyway ?Bazinga !

I saw Spectre the other week. It seemed really short in comparison to this.
Nothing really seemed to happen. Claraclone strutted about being bad. Two Zygon police officers totally failed at any time to be a threat to the Doctor and Osgood. A group of people failed to show any surprise/shock/emotion of any sort when a man changed into a Zygon in front of them. The Zygon baddies wanted the Osgood boxes and the Doctor knew they were empty but allowed them to continue massacring people. Why? Oh so he could deliver an un-ending, patronising and sanctimonious speech for the last ten minutes.

it's the worst tolerate immigrants story ever, you try to write Schindler's List but accidentally end up with Mein Kampf.
I wonder if the fact that there are Zygons on Earth will be seriously used in a later story. Probably not it'll be forgotten as quickly as Donna's dad.
