Default The Christmas TV 2015 Thread

What are you looking forward to this year? Is it better than ever? Do you hate Christmas TV? Are the BBC One idents the best they've had in a long time (I think so, I like sprouts)?

Doctor Who has a 5.15 slot on Christmas Day, which probably means Strictly is at 6.15. Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None is on Boxing Day at 9. ITV have Sound of Music Live, Christmas Abba, and the last ever Downton Abbey.

What will you watch with your mince pies?

    Ewww - Sprout Boy. http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2015-...who-and-luther

Dickensian sees Scrooge, Fagin and Miss Havisham amongst many more of Dickens’ seminal creations intertwine in 19th century London. A wealth of stories sourced from the novels provide the backdrop with a few twists and turns along the way. Other dramas sitting at the heart of BBC One’s schedule this Christmas include the return of two critically acclaimed detectives, Luther and Sherlock, and the adaptation of the best-selling crime novel of all time, And Then There Were None.

Call the Midwife delivers another much loved Christmas special. As Poplar readies itself for Christmas 1960, Nonnatus House is rocked when Sister Monica Joan goes missing.
Dickensian sounds like a load of old cobblers. The Sherlock special might be fun. Luther I couldn't give a tinker's cuss about. And Then There Were None might be brilliant.

Do they know it's Christmas time at all? Because you won't if you watch these channels. Maybe they'll announce something interesting in the next week or two.
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

I've set the recorder for very little - DW, Shetlock, Charlie Brooker, the Dads army thing.

The most exciting thing for me is Pick are showing Farscape The Peacekeeper Wars - the big movie - finale that was made after cancellation of the series to tidy things up (frell !! )

    It's very good too!

We watched the lovely From Andy Pandy to Zebedee the other day. Glorious nostalgia! So many great clips

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.
