    Default RIP Robert Banks- Stewart

Sad news again this week, as television legend, Robert Banks Stewart, who wrote for everything from The Avengers to Doctor Who, created Begarac and Shoestring has died.

His Doctor Who stories Terror of the Zygons and Seeds of Doom are still incredibly well regarded.

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Oh no! I'm glad this week is over...!

He maybe didn't write an awful lot for the series, but quality wins out over quantity here. Two great detective series there as well, I still love them both...

    RIP

Just seen this news elsewhere, very sad. Extraordinary to have created two such memorable shows as Shoestring and Bergerac.

    R.I.P. Robert Banks-Stewart.

I rushed over to post this story from this site and forgot to post in here.
I have enjoyed a lot of the episodes I've recognized his credited name on my favourite kind of TV shows.
