    Default China

    Greetings everyone!

I have just learnt that our fine website, www.planetskaro.org.uk is NOT censored in China

However, the internet's "premier" Doctor Who website, Outpost Gallifrey, is! Does this make us the "premier" Doctor Who website for China, I ask?

    BOTH!

    "I like Chinese.
    I like Chinese.
They come from a long way overseas,
But they're cute and they're cuddly, and they're ready to please.

    I like Chinese food.
    The waiters never are rude.
Think of the many things they've done to impress.
There's Maoism, Taoism, I Ching, and Chess.

    So, I like Chinese.
    I like Chinese.
They only come up to your knees,
Yet they're wise and they're witty, and they're ready to please."

One would have thought that the chinese people would take offence at The Talons of Weng-Chiang or possibly The Mind of Evil...

No, cause it's bobbins. Giant frog threatens the Earth? No thank you. We're meant to fear a massive alien invasion and we spend the entire adventure running round corridors on a spaceship. Throw in Adric and a load of grown men dancing in nappies and you've got a complete non-starter.

Obviously the Chinese don't know how subversive my ideas are.

Anyway I don't think it's anything to brag about, a country with awful human rights issues allows us, but NOT OG? Something's odd there!

Anyway let me get us banned in two simple words ...

    FREE TIBET

Oooh ... in a moment of madness I accidentally put "free tebbit" into Google, and got the Brighton bomb instead.

Ant, you made me think I'd got it wrong (what with these young whippersnappers changing their avatars it's very difficult to keep up) but it was Jonno.

Well it made me laugh anyway!

Grown men dancing in nappies indeed!

What Ian Levine and his online forum get up to in their spare time... And if that doesn't get them banned in China...
