    Default Ronnie Corbett has died

And it's goodnight from him as Ronnie Corbett sadly passes away.

    RIP Ronnie.
I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

Oh, no! I was just thinking about him the other day, realising that he was 86 this year!

    RIP Ron.

    Farewell Ronnie Corbett

The Two Ronnies pass away into history. Watching their shows back now it really does feel like another age.
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Very sad. Another of those stars who you never quite think you'll lose.

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

What sets them apart from modern comedy duos, The Two Ronnies was a showcase for their acting range and timing.
Now it's pranking celebrities and hosting game shows.

We clearly are not seeing their like now or will again.

    R.I.P. Ronnie and thanks!

And comic writing, when you consider who wrote for them: Ronnie Barker; John Cleese; Eric Idle; Michael Palin; Terry Jones; Barry Cryer; Spike Milligan (who wrote the Phantom Raspberry Blower); David Renwick...

The Daily Mail had me both agreeing with, and getting angry at them at the same time - their headline being why didn't Ronnie get a knighthood when lesser celebrities and government cronies did. Of course they're right as far as it goes, but what about the paper's using the Corbett family's grief to score political points and slag off a few famous people they don't happen to like?!
