I've deduced it can't be by Tom Baker as he wouldn't use such a genteel word as "hump"

Today's question has been a right bugger - I'm still waiting for some responses so I'll leave it till the morrow to reveal the book source.
In the meantime it appears to be Thursday - so would you be kind enough to tell me who this lady is?

Nyder's Famously Fiendish Festive Quiz 2016
Morning! Sorry I'm a tad late. The quote comes from "DOCTOR WHO: THE WRITER'S TALE" by RTD & lovely Benjamin Cook. Ben is taking RTD to task over the language used in his first Torchwood script, saying how it "jarred" with him ...... hence the quote!

I was totally stumped, but that's one of the books I actually have and I missed it.
I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

It occurred to me last night that it might be that, but by then it was far, far too late!
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

I also made the mistake of ruling that one out far too quickly. I'd forgotten how much of it was written in Ben's voice rather than Russell's.

I take a small amount of solace from the fact that all of us in poll position (and last year's winner in 4th) seem to have been equally wrong footed this week. It's still all to play for!

Most of you got yesterday's question correct - CURSES!!!
It was of course the voice of ANGELA LANSBURY

And as we're all going to be incredibly busy tomorrow, I'd better post the final question here too. Who's this?
So that's two questions to answer - if I could have your answers by midnight on Christmas Eve that would be grand - the results will be announced sometime on 27th December (must remember to take my score sheet back to Wales with me!)
THANK YOU for taking part again this year - it's been Fiendish but enjoyable too I hope
HAPPY CHRISTMAS! You're going to have a good one too? Thank you. That's what I wanted to know.

I've submitted an answer, in which I have absolute confidence. OK, I'm absolutely confident it's 100% wrong, but still...
Anyway, with the clock ticking away, and stairs to hoover and spuds to peel, in case I don't get chance to mention it again this side of tomorrow, thanks yet again Dave for another fantastic quiz. It's always a delight to see the amazing variety of questions (even if it's not always a delight for you to see the absurd variety of answers) and as ever it's made December rattle away very nicely indeed.
Have a great Christmas all!!

I know exactly how you feel Andrew. I decided to sleep on my final answer only to wake up feeling ill! Pleased to say am finally feeling a bit better but have gone with a hilariously wrong answer as I did promise a few this year.
Thank you Dave for your fiendish efforts and Merry Christmas everyone!

Happy Boxing Day! Best give you some answers I suppose .....
Day 23's audio clip came from VOYAGE OF THE DAMNED
Day 24's picture fooled a great number of you! Many of you incorrectly guessed David Warner, and I can sort of see where you were coming from with that! The answer in fact was that evergreen Tomorrow Person ... PETER VAUGHAN-CLARKE (photo came from a 1990s convention).
Only 1 person got this right. How has this affected the final scores? Tune in tomorrow to find out

That's another one I got wrong, then! I was looking at some of the photos in the background for inspiration, and photos of pop stars made me think of Pete Waterman...
At least I don't need to worry whether that has cost me anything or not...

So let's reveal the final scores ... in reverse order of course
Special mention goes to Ashley. Whilst he may not have scored any points, he took part with gusto. Thanks Ashley Next up are Dino and Phil with 9 points each. Then we have Tim with 11 points. As you had other things to deal with in your life Tim, 11 points is not to be sniffed at
