Steve is next with 20 points. He went missing towards the end but came back with a belter as his final joker brought home the bacon!

Kenny was next with 22 points. He wasn't so lucky with his jokers, as both bombed. But he gets the prize for always being on the PS Board before me in the mornings!!

Next comes Jonno with 24 points. Most impressive - considering he was buying every back issue of DWW under the sun whilst submitting his answers haha

A point above Jonno is Andrew Curnow with 25. I looked forward to your punny subject headers every day, so thanks for that - and great to have your presence on the board again Andrew

In fourth place, and just missing out on the prize haul is Jon Masters with 31 points. Both his jokers came up trumps but unfortunately it just .....wasn't ......enough. Well done though because any score in the 30s is most impressive for this hellhole of a quiz

Right we have a tie-break situation (again!!!) for second and third place as both Si Hart and RB-J scored a mighty 33 points. Well done boys - let me know when you're available on this thread for the decider question!
And first place .... with a jaw dropping 37 points is DUNCAN!!! Well done you - a most impressive display there! Some days you scored no points, other days you scored 4 points! So you see - you can have bad days on this quiz and still be a winner! You delivered the goods when it mattered Duncan so congrats once again

Congrats Duncan! I had an inkling from the last scoreboard that you were uncatchable!
Wow, I was sure Si would've gone ahead after getting the last question right and still having a joker left to play during the last week!

Just booted up my laptop to give myself a better chance although I think Si may still be mobile so happy to wait till later if that's more convenient?

I'm generally free today so give me a PM via facebook whenever's convenient.
Just to say that whatever happens I'm thrilled to have finished in the top 3. Thanks so much again for your efforts Dave, it's been a lot of fun.

Oh my! What an apt score for the way 2016's gone down!
I'd like to make special thanks to the flu bug that's been riddling me all through December, particularly as it kept me from sending in the one answer I could have got right!
(However, given I didn't send answers in for half the questions, I'm curious to find out if I actually sent in the most incorrect answers!)
Thanks for putting together and hosting this quiz once again, Dave. Whilst I may not have found it as much fun as others, it certainly continues to live up to it's fiendish name!
And congratulations to all who took part, especially Duncan - that's an extremely impressive score!Last edited by cullsoft; 27th Dec 2016 at 3:26 PM. Reason: adding congratulations

Oh wow!
I thought I would be caught as I was dropping points toward the end. Then, I didn't get the final picture correct and thought I might have blown it.
Congrats to everyone who took part and good luck to Si and Richard in the tie breaker. Si beat me in a tie breaker a few years ago so he's a tough cookie to beat, Richard!
Finally, thanks once again to Dave. I look forward to taking part as each December comes around. Thank you for the time and effort that goes into this and for supplying the prizes too.I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

Congratulations to Duncan, Richard and Si, and to all those brave souls who dared pit their wits against the Fiendish Nyder.
I'm very happy with 4th, especially as I see my STOoPID mistake with the War Games cover didn't make a difference, and Iactually managed to get some tunes right !Bazinga !

I'm around most of today for the tie breaker, if Richard and Dave are?

Hallooo! I'm just getting a train back from Wales so we're probably looking at an early evening stand-off (or sit-down!) Is 6pm okay for you both?

Well done all. I'm surprised to get double figures considering. And looking through the questions I'm confident I could have reached mid 20's score wise had I managed to get answers off.
